Tax preparation service employees arrested for identify theft

Dyersburg Police arrested two Jackson-Hewitt Tax service employees with identify theft after investigators linked the two in connection with a scam they are alleged to have committed against customers. Christia Ochard, 23, of 445 Miller St., Newbern and Edie Neel, 30, of 5113 Webb Store Road, Hornbeak, Tenn. were charged with identity theft. They may also face more charges as police continue their investigation...

Attorney suspended by state

Dyersburg attorney Christopher F. Donovan has been suspended from the practice of law in Tennessee by order of the state Supreme Court. The suspension was effective Jan. 31.
