Storm damage forces Caruthersville schools to begin double sessions

All 1,496 students in Caruthersville, Mo. public schools are scheduled to attend classes in the district's elementary school beginning April 18, Caruthersville's superintendent said Thursday. "Since the elementary school received no damage in the April 2 tornado, all classes will be held there," said Dr. Nicholas Thiele. "Middle school and high school students will attend from 7 a.m.-noon and elementary school students will attend from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m."...
