Arts Council helping tornado victims with benefit concert

MCH Music Group and the Tipton Arts Council will be putting on a benefit concert for the victims of the tornadoes and storms that swept Dyer County and West Tennessee earlier this month. They have partnered with United Way of West Tennessee, who will be handling all money raised at the event. All of the money raised will go to help the victims, since the TAC will be donating the Ruffin Theatre and the talent performing will be donating their services...

A Dyersburg man arrested in October on multiple drug, firearm and evading arrest charges after an undercover drug operation is among 37 indicted by the Dyer County Grand Jury. Devon Wiggins, 24, of 758 Circle Drive, was indicted on charges of sale of more than .5 gram of cocaine, possession of less than .5 gram of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, possession of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, being a drug felon in possession of a handgun, evading arrest in a motor vehicle and sale of more than .5 gram of cocaine in a drug-free zone.. ...
