Public hearing set for city curfew ordinance

The called meeting of the Dyersburg City Board on Thursday was a belated victory for Alderman Charles McCright. For seven years he has pushed his colleagues to adopt a curfew law for youth in Dyersburg. The board voted Thursday to hold a public hearing on the matter at its Aug. 21 meeting.
