Forked Deer Electric rates going down 3.3 percent

Dyersburg students excel in ACT tests

Dyersburg High School, which in 2003-04 was sixth in the state of Tennessee in its ACT college readiness scores, should be ranked even higher when comparisons are released by the Department of Education in November. Satellite early voting in Newbern approved

Dyer County voters will be able to cast their early ballots in Newbern for the Nov. 7 state, Dyersburg and Trimble elections. Aldermen ask if city should operate a landfill

Dyersburg aldermen voted Wednesday to fund a multimillion-dollar expansion at the landfill, and, at the same time, recommended a study to help them determine if the city should remain in the landfill business.
