Commission OKs using debt service to pay bills

The Dyer County Commission on Monday night authorized the county to borrow up to $800,000 from itself. The funds would be a short-term loan from the county's debt-service fund to cover any cash-flow problem until property tax collections come in. Suspected drug dealer makes bond hour after court exit

Citing lack of space, local Civil Air Patrol unit to disband
