Woman arrested for cutting husband

A Dyersburg woman was arrested Friday after she had cut her husband with a large hunting knife. Rhonda Palmer Stroud, 40, of 236 Village St. was charged with aggravated assault for the incident, which was reported by a 911 call at about 4:16 p.m. by her husband, Greg Stroud. Greg told dispatchers during the call Rhonda had stabbed him with a knife she had purchased at a sale, and told him she wished the stab wound -- an inch-long cut in the small of his back -- "had gone through his kidney."...
