Trojans cruise into second round of TSSAA playoffs

After wrapping up the regular season with a 9-1 overall record, the Dyersburg Trojan football team began the state playoffs with a convincing, 49-26 triumph over visiting Memphis Trezevant Friday night at J.C. The week leading up to the first round of the TSSAA state playoffs was one I am glad is over. The middle school basketball season is alive and kicking even though it sure doesn't feel like basketball season with both Dyersburg and Dyer County still hard at work on the gridiron...
