Familiar face takes development position with Transitions

Suspect jailed for damaged goods scheme

An alleged scheme to steal thousands of dollars worth of returned Wal-Mart items tagged for destruction has been busted by Dyersburg and Halls police. Jimmy Dewayne Webb, 306 Wilson St. in Dyersburg, is lodged in the Lauderdale County Jail on charges of burglary, theft over $1,000 and criminal trespassing. Webb was arrested Friday in Halls after leading police on a 15-minute car and foot pursuit...
