A Dyersburg man who reportedly was caught using a credit card that didn't belong to him faces a possible indictment for theft and several drug charges. Jeremy Scott Moore, 25, of 2441 St. John Ave., waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Dyersburg city court on charges of theft of property in excess of $1,000, possession of Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substances, possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. ...

Weekly garbage pickup starting

The city of Dyersburg will begin once-a-week garbage pickup on Monday, Jan. 14, with Mayor John Holden stating that the city will inform residents of the new trash-pickup schedule through several different venues.
