March of Dimes March for Babies is Saturday

Local members of the Dyer County Chapter of the March of Dimes have been busy making plans for this month's March for Babies and the additional fundraising efforts surrounding the annual event. Block grant could benefit county utility upgrades

County commission seeks to delay switch to new voting system

State law requires Dyer County to dump touch-screen balloting and buy an optical scanner voting system in time for next year's gubernatorial election. School systems OK'd for federal loans

The Dyersburg and Dyer County school systems received two of 15 low- or no-interest loans through a federal stimulus program in Tennessee.
