Friends, if you leave the house, take care not to leave your washer/dryer on. Over the weekend, my washer short-circuited and smoke filled the utility room before I could unplug my washer. I hate to think what would have happened if I hadn't been at home. Our children are grown, but our three precious house pets are like our children...
