Dyersburg Fire Department presents moving tribute to fallen firemen

On a snow-covered January morning over 67 years ago, two local firemen gave their lives fighting a raging fire at the Tennessee Hotel. Dyersburg firemen William "Bill" L. Dudley and Pratt Fletcher have the sole distinction of being the only Dyersburg firemen in the history of the department to lose their lives in the line of duty.
