Men plead guilty to lawnmower theft

Two men, who were photographed while apparently stealing a lawnmower in Newbern, have pleaded guilty. Ralph Wayne Gordon, 48, 138 Tennyson Ave. in Dyersburg, and Donny Wayne Lee, 33, 213 Poplar St. in Finley, were sentenced Oct. 5 in Newbern city court. State Supreme Court suspends lawyer's license

Dyer County Health Dept. to offer H1N1 vaccine

The Dyer County Health Department will offer a limited amount of the H1N1 injectable vaccine from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 22, and beginning at 8 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 24.
