City to enter into agreement with Dixie Youth to manage softball field on Lake Road

Recovery effort continues for missing hunter

The recovery effort continues for a Dyer County man that disappeared Saturday during a hunting trip on the Forked Deer River. Dyer County Rescue Squad Director J.C. Cutler said rescue squads from Benton, Weakley and Obion counties assisted them in their river search on Tuesday for the body of 49-year-old Ronnie Cobb. Also, Cobb's brother, from Missouri, had his boat on the Forked Deer River helping in the recovery effort....
