Car hits train in Monday morning accident

A 29-year-old woman from Halls and her passenger were taken to Dyersburg Regional Medical Center for treatment after their vehicle struck a train that was crossing Highway 51 Bypass. Dyersburg Police are reporting the driver was traveling north on the bypass in a 1999 Nissan four-door car when she struck the train, approximately one-quarter mile south of Highway 104 West. DHS golf teams end season at region tourney
