Gentry B. "Doc" Bevis, 82, of Newbern, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at The Med in Memphis. He was a farmer and a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, but attended Lake Road Baptist Church and US Navy Veteran Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lake Road Baptist Church with the Rev.
