Winter weather causes numerous accidents in county and city

Tuesday's snowfall disappeared as quickly as it came, but it caused numerous vehicle accidents in both the county and the city. Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box stated that from 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday until 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday there were 14 accidents reported to the county's dispatch center.
