Newbern city board approves sewer upgrades for subdivision

Feed the Need is this Friday

The monthly Feed the Need mobile food pantry will distribute food to needy families again this Friday. However, organizers are concerned about the amount of food that must be sent back because it is not being picked up by vouchered residents. Mark Oakes, program coordinator for Dyer County, stated over 400 families did not show up during the last distribution to receive food they were allotted, and much of it had to be sent back to the Mid-South Food Bank in Memphis...
