After inclement weather prevented the Dyer County baseball team from holding its scheduled home opener two weeks ago, on Friday the squad finally got the chance to play in front of the home crowd when hosting USJ. The theme of the day was bringing awareness to breast cancer, and after survivor Penny Guthrie threw out the ceremonial first pitch, the day belonged to USJ as the Bruins held off a late rally from DC to win the contest, 6-4...
