Joseph Roland Burton Sr., 71, of Jackson, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Stubtown, Mo. and was a retired veteran of the Tennessee National Guard after 20 years. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14 at H.S.
