DHS students examine future in medicine at national forum

Damage assessment of 2011 flood about $5 million

The final damage assessment of the 2011 flooding in Dyer County is estimated to have been approximately $5 million. According to Dyer County Emergency Management Director James Medling the total is a combined sum from both the city and county. As opposed to last year's flooding, the county took the brunt of the damage in the 2011 flood. NSK to create 180 jobs in Dyer County
