Grand jury to hear Purvis attempted first-degree murder case

Two of the three charges against Christopher Adam Purvis of Dyersburg will be bound over to the Dyer County Grand Jury. The 18-year-old Purvis was charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder, one count of leaving the scene of an accident with injury and one count of violation of the financial responsibility law.
