Mr. Raymond Criswell, 93, of Dyersburg, TN died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at The Bridge in Ridgely. He was a member of Dyersburg First Baptist Church and was a barber in Dyersburg for over 60 years. He was a World War II Veteran and received the American Theater Ribbon, EAME Theater Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal WWII....

Election commission to review applications for administrator position

The Dyer County Election Commission will now have the task of narrowing down the applicants for the position of election administrator after receiving 14 applications.
