THP to hold driver's license checkpoint Friday

Fowlkes selected as new election administrator trainee

The Dyer County Election Commission has made its decision on who will replace retiring administrator Jane Heathcott after interviewing four applicants last week. Anita Fowlkes accepted the position of administrator trainee after being offered the job during a meeting of the commissioners on Tuesday. Fowlkes is a native of Dyersburg, the wife of Bill Fowlkes and a mother of two. She will be leaving an accounting position at RMR Investment Company...
