When the regular season ended an the opponents were scheduled for the opening round of the state playoffs, many including myself were left shaking their heads at how these matchups were come up with. When it comes to the TSSAA and the playoff system, to say the least the ones making the decisions sure need some help, but we are left to deal with their decisions and move on...

Accident on 412 leaves one in critical condition

An accident on Highway 412 slowed the morning commute and has left one person in critical condition at Memphis Regional Medical Center. The accident happened at approximately 7 a.m. when Larry Riggs, 61, of Dyersburg, was traveling westbound on 412 and approached Sorrell Chapel Road to make a left turn. Riggs who was driving a 2003 GMC Truck was struck in the passenger side by Michelle McCormack, 34, of Halls, who was traveling eastbound on 412 in a 1999 4 door Saturn...
