Newbern Police arrest 3 suspects for aggravated robbery

Three suspects are now in custody after being charged by Newbern Police for an aggravated robbery in which a handgun was allegedly used to beat a victim. Martell Menyard, 21, 505 Ferral St., Dyersburg, Tenn., was charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, possession of Schedule II substance, unlawful possession of a weapon, violation of probation, and violation of parole. Deputies foil alleged scrap-metal thieves

Dyer County Sheriff's deputies continued their active stance against thefts in the county after they apprehended two suspects for allegedly stealing metal they sold as scrap.
