May Beauty Spot
(Local News ~ 06/05/12)

Judges state the corner location resembles a park, starting at the front entrance with two large, blooming hibiscus in potted plants framing the doorway. Along the walkways, the Wallaces placed dusty millers, nandinas, liropes, money grass and clematis vines, with large individual garden plots throughout the yard containing euonymus, day lilies, encore azaleas, roses, geraniums, holly and Japanese maples. Hedges of pampas grass and linden cypress at the back of the property complete this corner landscape. The Wallaces say they enjoy planting and maintaining this 'park' themselves.
