Election commission certifies August vote

The Dyer County Election Commission approved the August election during its meeting on Wednesday afternoon and selected new early voting times for the upcoming November election. Chairman Joe Enoch said this month's election went quite smoothly and hoped that sentiment would carry over into November. Friends, I was very upset to see someone's beloved pet locked in a truck with the windows down an inch or so. It was 90 degrees outside and much hotter than that inside the truck. That pet was in the car for at least 40 minutes! When you see such a thing, please don't look the other way, take immediate action and save that pet's life. ...
