DCHS rifle team defeats Malden High School

The DCHS rifle team competed in a precision air-rifle match against the Malden High School rifle team who hailed from Malden, Mo. The match was conducted on Thursday, Oct. 18, and the Choctaw Battalion Rifle Team defeated them handily, scoring an overall point standing of 1629 to 1550. The team overall did a superb job staying focused throughout the match which resulted in the Choctaws bringing home most of the awards presented at the close of the match...

Fourth suspect charged with TennCare fraud in drug roundup

A fourth individual was charged with TennCare fraud in a Dyer County undercover operation. The roundup of suspects started last week, with most charges involving prescription drug fraud.
