Fyrne Lake 10K Trail Run set for Saturday

The second annual Fyrne Lake 10K trail run will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Fyrne Lake Farms located at 6875 Lenox Nauvoo Rd. with race events beginning at 9 a.m. The morning event will include live bands, hot food and prizes for the top three finishers in each event by age group. There will be five events this year: the 10K trail run, the 2-mile competitive walk and three youth events, the one-mile, half-mile and quarter-mile run. Participants can register at http://fyrnelake.racesonline.com/, at packet pick-up on Friday, Nov. 2 or on the day of the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration for the 10K trail run is $35, for the 2-mile walk is $20 and all youth events are $12 each.
