Ambitious builders construct giant snowman

A giant snowman was constructed on Wednesday, Dec 26, on the corner of Poplar Street and Lake Road by Shawn Smith, Bradley Greer, John Houston, John Mark Moody, and Timm Johnson (not pictured). The finished height was 14 feet from bottom to top of hat. Overnight the snowman shrunk and developed a leaner look.

Santa trades in his sleigh, spotted in Dyersburg

There were several sightings of Santa in Dyersburg on Christmas Eve. According to reports, he was seen riding on a Harley motorcycle, with his toy bag stuffed with gifts loaded on the back. These photos were taken by those lucky enough to have seen him. A rare sight for sure. It was a good night for the children of Dyersburg this year.
