Already with two district wins under its belt this week, Dyer County faced Columbia, Mo. Thursday night in Newbern looking to lift head coach Preston Ozment into an exclusive group of coaches. Ozment entered the contest one win shy of 300 career victories spearheading the Choctaw baseball program. Though the Missouri challengers kept the contest close, the end result was a 4-1 Dyer County victory as Ozment reached the 300-win milestone 13 games into his 11th season...
