Ribbon cutting held for DSCC's Advanced Manufacturing Classroom

Dyersburg State Community College, along with the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the opening of the college's new Advanced Manufacturing Classroom at the Dyersburg campus with a ribbon cutting and a tour of the classroom Oct. 22. DSCC's Division of Continuing Education offers a multitude of programs that benefit current industrial employees who wish to obtain new or enhanced skills as well as a firm educational base for new students. In 2014, DSCC will also offer an associate's degree in Advanced Integrated Industrial Technology at its Covington and Dyersburg locations to meet the demand of local industries that need more employees with advanced technological skills. Dyersburg Health Care and Rehabilitation marks name change

The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Dyersburg Health Care and Rehabilitation. The ceremony was held to commemorate the new name of the former Dyersburg Manor. Community leaders, Chamber representatives, staff, and friends were in attendance at the event. Joe LeMay, administrator, cut the ribbon and thanked the guests for attending.
