(Local News ~ 11/20/13)
Employees from Sun Products in Dyersburg, Tenn. proudly display their donation to the State Gazette's Coats for Kids campaign. This is the third year in a row the company has donated to the charity, which provides coats to children during the cold winter months. The cost of purchasing a coat year after year is a huge burden for some families in the community. Organizations or individuals can make donations to the campaign year round. Coats of all shapes and sizes will be accepted, but this year there is a particular need for the boys sizes 4 to 10 and newborn boys and girls coats. Coats should be clean winter coats and can be dropped off at the State Gazette, located at 294 Highway 51 Bypass in Dyersburg, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Parents who have children needing a coat can bring them to the State Gazette for a fitting during the same business hours. For more information, or to make a donation in lieu of coats, contact State Gazette Office Manager Jina Jeffries at 731-285-4091.
