Moose Lodge prepares Thanksgiving meals for shut-ins

Dyersburg Moose Lodge 441 managed to feed over 100 area shut-ins and those in need of a Thanksgiving meal. The lodge was filled with members preparing food, loading plates, wrapping up desserts, and getting them ready to be delivered across the county.

'More than a Meal' ministry continues to expand

Grace Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg is not a particularly large church, but the small congregation has been blessed beyond measure, and it is now pouring those blessings out into its surrounding community. In January 2012, the church began the "More than a Meal" program offering a meal once a quarter and an opportunity to assist residents in applying for food stamps, processing a job application or even obtaining a state photo ID or other important documents. ...
