Cypress Creek Outdoors holds ribbon cutting

The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Saturday, Nov. 2, in honor of Cypress Creek Outdoors' Grand Opening Event. Cypress Creek Outdoors' Assistant Manager Ben Hagar did the honors of cutting the ribbon during the ceremony. Many Chamber representatives, community leaders, family, and staff participated in the ceremony along with store owners, Ben Parks and Ron Parks. Cypress Creek Outdoors is located at 305 Highway 51 Bypass South in Dyersburg inside the old Riggs building. They offer outdoor sporting and hunting gear, coolers, firearms, ammunition, and much more for the avid outdoorsman. Ridgeway Trimble American Legion Post 92 hosts district meeting

The Ridgeway Trimble American Legion Post 92 recently hosted the Tennessee Ninth District of American Legion, which consists of some 30 individual posts throughout West Tennessee. The annual event was held at the Trimble Community Center in Trimble, Tenn. that included a dinner prior to the meeting. Post Commander Robert Hurt (left) and Adjutant Don Byrd (far right), both of Trimble, welcomed Legion dignitaries from throughout the state.
