Minor accident along Hwy. 104 involving school bus

A Dyer County school bus with no students on it and a Clark Distributing truck were involved in a minor fender bender on Thursday afternoon along Highway 104 West. The accident occurred at Highway 104 East and Garhill Road around 2:40 p.m. According to Dyer County Schools Transportation Director Allen Cook, the bus driver of school bus #50 was attempting to turn left onto Highway 104 from Garhill Road. ...

Counterfeit bills reported around Dyersburg

The holidays are a time for folks to spread good cheer, but some people have decided to spread counterfeit bills around instead. According to Dyersburg Assistant Chief of Police Steve Isbell, investigators have been investigating reports of counterfeit $20 and $100 bills circulating around Dyersburg.
