Man arrested after assault on store employee

A Moscow, Tenn. man was recently arrested by Dyersburg Police after reportedly stealing a board game and assaulting a store employee at Walmart. Tempton Land, 41, 5925 Bobbit Road, Moscow, Tenn., is charged with theft under $500 and assault. Northwest Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross Chapter Executive Lynn Karlgaard recently announced her retirement from the organization. Karlgaard became the chapter executive of the Dyer County Red Cross Chapter in 2007 after filling the vacant position. In 2011, the Red Cross consolidated its chapters into regions and Karlgaard was named chapter executive of the Northwest Tennessee region, which consists of Dyer, Lauderdale, Lake, Obion, and Weakley counties...
