Little Joe Pritchett, 90, of Finley, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Oakwood Community Living Center. He was a retired supervisor for Colonial Rubber Works, where he worked for 35 years and a member of Finley Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon for 50 + years. He was an avid fisherman, loved sports, football and baseball and loved his family, his Lord and his church family. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. We celebrate his life. He will be greatly missed...

Laurie Williams was crowned Miss Dyersburg High School on Saturday during the school's annual event. The school hosted a reception for parents and students on Saturday evening in the atrium and the crowning ceremony was held shortly thereafter. Williams' court was chosen and Kason Thompson was crowned Mr. DHS.
