Man dies after house fire

A Dyer County man has died after receiving severe burns during a fire in his residence on Upper Finley Road. On Sunday morning, at approximately 6:45 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to 3799 Upper Finley Road in reference to a house fire. Upon arrival, responders found 73-year-old Willy Shipley in a wheelchair outside his home with severe burns. Shipley was reportedly pulled from his burning home by his son after being alerted to the fire by a Life Alert necklace...
