Man being booked into jail vandalizes fingerprinting machine

After a recent arrest for DUI, a Dyersburg man is now facing an extra felony charge after reportedly smashing an electronic fingerprinting machine at the Dyer County Jail. According to Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box, Shannon Hill, 43, 7645 Lennox-Nauvoo Road, Dyersburg, Tenn., was brought to the jail during the early-morning hours on Sunday by a Tennessee Highway Patrol state trooper on charges of DUI and violation of implied consent. ...

Missing Mo. teen may be in Dyersburg area

Cape Girardeau, Mo. Police are seeking the public's help to find a missing teenager. Breannin F. Arnold was last seen about 6:25 p.m. March 12, walking in the street with friends, according to a news release from the Cape Girardeau Police Department. The 15-year-old -- who is not believed to be in any danger -- was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a purple shirt and a gray jacket, the release stated. Family members have reported she may have been in the St. Louis area earlier but now may be in the Dyersburg, Tenn., area, the release stated. Anyone with information about Breannin's whereabouts is asked to call local law enforcement or the Cape Girardeau Police Department at 573-335-6621.
