Local Walmart employees support Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

Dyersburg Walmart employees Ashley Moore, Kristy Anderson and CC Holloway visited Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis on April 24 to celebrate another successful year of caring for children during the annual Walmart and Sam's Appreciation Day. In 2013, through the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Walmart and Sam's Clubs in the greater Mid-South region raised more than $650,000 for the hospital. Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., treats more than 130,000 children each year in a 255-bed hospital that features state-of-the-art technology and family-friendly resources. Nationally recognized, Le Bonheur is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Children's Hospital. Serving as a primary teaching affiliate for the University Tennessee Health Science Center, the hospital trains more pediatricians than any other hospital in the state. Air Evac Lifeteam ribbon cutting

In an effort to shave minutes off of their already incredible response time, Air Evac Lifeteam recently moved their flight crews and helicopters to a new facility located at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Air Evac held a ribbon cutting to celebrate their membership-supported operation. Their new hangar and living quarters is next to two helicopter landing pads that replaced the original single pad at the hospital.

Lamar Alexander to discuss issues in employment and workforce development.
