Bark in the Park raises $3,000

Cooler temperatures made for a smaller-than-usual turnout to the 10th annual Bark in the Park on Saturday, May 17. Newbern residents will see a change in their water, gas and sewer rates if proposed budget amendments are approved by the full city board at the June meeting of the Newbern Board of Mayor and Aldermen. Visitors to Full Throttle Distillery grand opening celebration get a taste of music, food and moonshine

Despite periods of torrential rain, the grand opening weekend celebration of the Full Throttle S'Loonshine Distillery in Trimble, Tenn. brought in hordes of visitors, numbers of which the town has never seen before.
