Box: Farm Watch making a difference

The Dyer County Sheriff's Dept. is seeing great results for its Farm Watch program. Sheriff Jeff Box credits the program with making arrests that would have likely never happened. "Thanks to improved technology and good communications, there have been 25-30 arrests made since it's inception," said Box. "These people would have probably gotten away with their crimes but thanks to neighbors looking out for their neighbors. ... That's what this is all about -- making our community a safer place."...

Motorcyclist injured in crash at exit ramp

On Friday at approximately 6:23 p.m., Dyersburg Police responded to the scene of an accident at the exit ramp of I-155 and Hwy. 78 involving a motorcycle as well as a vehicle. According to witnesses at the scene, Raymond Bradford, 74, 300 Silent Brook in Millington, exited I-155 at mile marker 13 on a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle approaching Hwy. ...
