Newly elected Lake County mayor responds to recent audit findings

On Oct. 1, 2014, a state audit of last year's fiscal budget for Lake County was released for public record. Financial management issues were a concern for the county. Auditors found that the county government had spent over $28,000 since 2008 at the business of Charles Stewart and was found in violation of the "Conflict of Interest" statute. ...
