Dyersburg animal in the midst of controversy

Danny Higgins of Dyersburg is the owner of 2 ½-year-old Beau, a lovable animal to some that know him. However, because of an incident that occurred on Sept. 19, 2014, the Dyersburg City Court has deemed Beau a "vicious" animal and he will be euthanized next week unless the appeals of Higgins are heard. Higgins presented his case before Judge Dean Dedmon in Dyersburg City Court on Sept. 26. Higgins did not have any witnesses to testify on his behalf.
