Warming shelters open through Saturday

Due to the extreme weather, the New Life Union Mission will continue to have its warming center open through Saturday morning, Feb. 21. The warming center is located inside the Mission Youth Center at 306 S. Church St., Dyersburg. The Mission has staff available 24/7, so the warming center will be open throughout the night as well as the day. Hot meals will be served, and the local Red Cross is providing cots and blankets. Showers and laundry are also provided if necessary. The Youth Center has several rooms and a large gym allowing the Mission to serve both individuals and families.
