Dyersburg Community Orchestra announces rehearsal times

The Dyersburg Community Orchestra will hold its first rehearsal for the fall season on Monday, Aug. 17 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. in the Union City Rotary Club Music Room, located in the E.H. Lannom Jr. Gymnasium on the Dyersburg campus. All musicians who play an orchestral instrument are invited to attend. Jakes Day attracts toms, hens and jennies too

Bart Barker, local news co-host of "Good Morning West Tennessee" and WBBJ sports director will speak at the fourth annual Dyersburg High School Kick Off Dinner at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Ross United Methodist Church. Barker joined WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News in August of 2013 to co-host and help produce the popular Friday night high school football show, "5th Quarter." Wings Over Halls air show sees jump in attendance
