Josh Watford (left) from Tennessee Tractor Irrigation was recently recognized by Valley Irrigation for his performance and high scores during the annual Valley Technical Service Seminar. Nearly 1,000 people attended local and regional Valley service seminars across the United States. The hands-on training ranges from basic courses on center pivot operation and troubleshooting to advanced instruction on GPS Guidance and telemetry controls. The continuing education courses allow Valley dealership technicians to keep current on irrigation practices and new products. Watford has been with Tennessee Tractor Irrigation for five years and has a total of 12 years of experience working with Valley equipment. He specializes in electric pump control panels, linears, and precision corners.

Edward Jones financial advisor receives award

Edward Jones Financial Advisor Lee Garner (right) of Dyersburg recently received the A.F. McKenzie Award for his outstanding business building skills and client service efforts over the past year. The award is named for Al McKenzie, who developed the firm's training program during his nearly 60 years of service with Edward Jones. Lee Garner was one of only 318 financial advisors out of more than 14,000 to receive the A.F McKenzie Award.
